We got bamboo floors installed in our livingroom and playroom and we tried the Swiffer WetJet we had on hand to clean the floor. After using that on a small section of the floor, we stopped because it left a film on the floor. I did a little research and found that the Bona allegedly didn’t leave a film on bamboo. I’m happy to say that it does not and leaves the floor felling great. It took a little extra rubbing to clean a few spots where there appeared to be Jello stuck on the floor (kids!) but it took it off without too much effort. The mop heads are machine washable which I like (though I haven’t tried it yet). No need to buy refills for the mop head! The only thing is that I’ll probably need to think ahead a bit and order more floor cleaner spray because I’ve never seen it in the stores I go to.

I got this filter for my Dirt Devil Featherlite Bagless Vacuum – M085845. The only strange thing (to me) was the filter wasn’t the same exact size as the original filter. This one is a tad bit bigger. It still fits the same, and when I vacuum, it definitely picks up very well. My old filter had been quite overused in about 3 months! Luckily, when I was moving out of my old place, I had this filter brand spankin new. I used it, and the carpet looked and felt so fresh afterward. Works for me!

There is no problem with the belt itself. However installing it and making it work is not a trivial task. If you are handy person and can make changes on the fly to make it work, that is good. Otherwise have a technision take care ot it.

Looked locally and felt the prices were too high (approx 2x). I paid a much more reasonable price and shipping cost for a replacement item. I hope that this belt will last a similar time to the previous one (approx 4yrs). Straightforward to install.

For some reason my Eureka upright has been going through belts on a regular basis. The vacuuming is nothing out of the ordinary but the previous belts that came with the vacuum just shred apart. Hopefully this new batch will more staying power. I can’t rate the new belts since I just installed one so the 5 star rating is for the quick shipping.

After wasting several hours going from one store to another (all licensed Eureka dealers BTW) I finally had the good sense to search for this on Amazon. Bingo. Five minutes later I have what I need. I little pricey for a strip of rubber, but cheaper than a new vacuum.

The belt that came with the vacuum was tough and worked > 1y till a week or so ago. I replaced it a few minutes ago with this product, using two on-line versions of directions plus common sense, and I didn’t even cross the room before it broke again. Two floors, three vacuums, all Eurekas. If only the belts were as strong as an O-ring.

What can one say about a belt; it either works or it doesn’t. I’ve noticed complaints about the belt breaking frequently on the Eureka 4870. I think that is due in large part to the manual operation of the height adjustment. The height should be adjusted to the highest level that actually works on the carpet being vacuumed. If it is adjusted too low, the resistance from the carpet versus the powerful motor on the 4870 stresses the belt too much and it breaks. I’ve used the same belt on my 4870 for well over two years and it seems to be as good as new. I have a fairly thick carpet and adjust the height to the next to the highest position for most of the carpeted areas of the house. We have some rugs and other carpeted areas where I need to drop the height down, but usually the third level down from the highest works well on those. Properly adjusted the 4870 cleans very well, fluffs up the carpet, and extends the belt life. The bottom line on this is if you don’t stress the belt by adjusting the height too low for the carpet; the belt can last for years.

Hoover U5140-900 Review
Despite the rave reviews here on amazon and on other sites, I was not expecting much with such a low price. My expectations were certainly rewarded with an amazing value, a great vacuum, and the usual Amazon speedy delivery. It is really hard to believe that such a good product could be so inexpensive, even if it is made in Mexico. The build quality is excellent. However, for someone tall, like me, (6′4″) the handle is not long enough, the bag is on the small side, and the unit is noisy (but not any more so than other vacuums I have had that were 3x the price), but those are the only negatives after a week of use. Instead of smelling dust while vacuuming, the air coming out of the vacuum is actually fresher and cleaner smelling than the air in the room. Searching amazon, one can find belts for $3 or less and bags less than $1 in quantity, so the unit should be inexpensive to operate. If I get five years out of the unit, I will be more than satisfied.

I read Consumer Reports and the MANY reviews on Amazon before I made my purchase, and I just have to say: I love this vacuum! I have long hair and 2 pets, so I know what its like to need a good vacuum. This one sucks up everything on my hardwood and tile floors and on the carpet. The attachments’ suction is also incredibly strong- love it for couches and carpeted stairs. And you can’t beat the price, but mind you, I was so in need of a good vacuum, I was willing to pay $500-600 for a Dyson till I started researching vacuums. And: its NOT too loud.

I bought this after my bagless needed the filter changed. After checking the price of the replacement of 2 filter. i decided to buy a new bagged vaccum as the 2 filters will cost up to $50. It’s about the price of a new one!!! Then i checked the consumer report and found this U5140-900. It is light and powerful. a decent vaccum which is exactly what i want. It is even quieter than my old one. After i tried the bagless’ messy way of emptying the waste bucket. i far prefect to go back to bagged vaccum. I will never use bagless again.

I bought this vacuum for my wife to replace an aging no frills machine. I didn’t want to go with a bag-less model, as I have heard too many negative things about these. For around $70, this is an excellent, brand name (Hoover)(presumably American made, but now days, who knows? It has a powerful suction motor, which can be used as a blower by reversing the hose configuration. Comes with all the commonly used attachments. It also has a non-HEPA, washable secondary filter, a good alternative for the models with expensive disposable HEPA filters. Height adjustments easy and satisfactory. Easy to replace “Y” type bag (not hard to find at many retail stores). Headlight a plus. Comes with built in “bag full” indicator, a nice convenience that saves having to take the front hatch off frequently to check the bag. (The bag hatch, BTY, is easily removed and replaced.) The motor could be a little quieter, but I do not consider this to be a major flaw. Overall, a well made machine, with just the right number of frills, and a good value for the price.

Hoover U5507-900 Review
I researched tons of vacuums before purchasing this one. I wanted the best I could get for around $100. This is the first time I’ve owned a bagless vacuum and I was a bit concerned that it would be messy to empty it. Turns out not to be a problem. Everything detaches easily. If you were to open it over the garbage and shake it out, then some of the dust will fly around cause of the shaking. I just set it in a plastic bag, open, and lift it up and everything comes out mess free in the bag. The automatic cord rewind thing was not a selling point for me when I purchased it, but now I don’t ever want to own a vacuum without it – it’s so convenient. I gave it four stars only because it is a little bit heavy, but not too much to be a problem for me.

Having two different Eureka Optima’s break within a six month period, I figured it was a sign to maybe try a different make and model. Then I saw this Hoover and figured I’d give it a try. I’ll admit I was a little unsure at first because it was a little too big, especially for my apartment. But wow, was I surprised by it’s performance and features. Setup was a breeze, took five minutes and a phillips screwdriver. The retractable cord is an awesome feature, but by far my favorite feature has to be how you release the dust cup. It’s just common sense, but took forever for someone to realize “Hmmm, let’s make it easy and prevent dirt going everywhere by having the cup release from the BOTTOM!” And you can do so one handed, with the flick of your thumb. Storage is the same as my old Optima, it’s just a little taller, but I can tell this badboy is going to be around for a long long time. Five stars all the ways!

I Love my Elite! It is absolutely amazing. Both light and flexible, it picks up even miniscule particles of dust. I have used it on both my carpet and linoleum floors and it is awesome. With three cats I have a lot of cat hair and the Elite picks it up and doesn’t leave a trace. The tool attachments are great, too. They work fantastic on stairs and furniture. The rewind feature is soooooo cool. Just *zip!* and the cord is put away and doesn’t risk the chance of unraveling. I can’t say enough good things about this vacuum! I highly recommend it!

This vacumn replaced my $450 Signature. Can’t believe the difference! I will never own a expensive vacumn again. The bagless is messy to clean, but i suppose most bagless are. The cord was not 24′as stated, it was 22′. The quality of plastic was better than my old expensive vacumn. Cleaned my carpets and bare floors completely. Smell is gone from my house. Retractable cord is great! My old vacumn attachments worked on this model. Picked up hair and lint too! Can’t believe the amount of dirt that came out of my house. This was only $100 bucks, if it only lasts a year i would still buy another one.

This vacuum cleaner looks a tad like an offshoot of Artoo-Detoo, but it gets the job done in a jiffy. I put it together fairly easily, plugged it in, hit the button and took it for a test-drive. It cleaned my wall-to-wall carpeting in no time at all and left it looking like new. There’s a foot pedal to wind the cord, and the cord is 22 feet long so that one plug-in should take care of a good-size room. And the best thing is there is no yucky bag to change (the worst thing about regular vacuum cleaners). The plastic dirt container needs emptying every three or four weeks (I vacuum three rooms of wall-to-wall carpeting once a week) but it couldn’t be simpler — push the release button, lift the container out, dump the dirt into the garbage can, rinse out the container, dry it and pop it back in. There are a several attachments to clean the stairs, the blinds, and the furniture that work well. This is a great mid-price canister vac that is a good value for the money.

This vacuum is absolutly wonderful!!! I researched for days upon days to the point where people were calling it an obsession This seemed to be the most logical choice. I decided on canister vacuum though I have never had one because I have a large kitchen and I wanted to do the lanolium in there with ease. Well this does the job. I have burber throughout the rest of the house and this vacuum cleans it like a champ! I wanted bagless because I hate the cost and hassel of bags. This is the first REAL vacuum Ive bought. Others have been dirt devils lol. I got this with free shipping at the buzz electronics for 193.99! Mine is model S3765-040 But I cant find the difference between this one and mine. Mine has the attachement with the brushes in it too. This is the only place I could find the model they have listed. So if you want a GREAT vacuum this is the one!

I purchased this Hoover because I have a Fantom Fury and while I thought it still worked like new based on what was in the canaster, it was showing signs of its age and litterally falling apart. The mechine still ran like new though. I vacuumed with it and then with this new Hoover and the dirt container of the Hoover was full after doing a small dinning room average size living room and just the smallest hallway. I emptyed the container and fould all sorts of trash. Dust, sand, dog hair, cat hair and a leaf. Then I did my 3 bedrooms and had to empty the canaster twice to get through them. The mechine is so much quieter than most vacuums. The attachments are wonderful, and actually work while being easy to use and switch from floors to attachments and back. I love that all the controls are right at your finger tips and with the touch of a button you can do carpets or hard floors. Plus this model is the deluxe model and Amazon is selling it for $20.00 less than the base model sells for in stores. I was worried about the fact that this Hoover Windtunnel had the filter in the canaster because this usually causes the filter to clog quickly but Hoover designed this mechine to trap the dirt under 2 flaps in the container so only the dirty air gets to the filter. This design really does work. I never thought that I would replace a Fantom with any other brand even if it meant going throught ebay to buy used ones since they are out of business but this Hoover has changed my mind. I absolutly love it and encourage everyone to buy it.

The materials used to manufacture the bag are different than that shown in the picture. Elextrolux has designed a new synthetic bag. When I first opened the box I thought I had received the wrong item, however the model numbers listed on the box have assured me that I have the correct product for my vacuum. Model #’s EL6985, EL6988, EL6989, EL7000, EL7020, and EL7025 Series.

The product is something I use. Just needed more. I liked the fact that I received free shipping, yet had to order the product three times the amount I wanted, to get the free shipping. Still they are something that will eventually all get used.

The Electrolux bags are easy to install and remove. The retraction peice that covers the opening upon removal of the bag works consistently. I cannot smell and do not sneeze from fine dust/dog dander that can blow through while vacuuming.

I bought my oxygen vacuum cleaner because of my allergies to dust and pollen. This vacuum bag which was made for the cleaner is so tight- no chance for leakage of what I can’t stand in my air, so even though I usually do, I will not seek out any better priced imitations this time. Kirby Generation Review
I have the newest generation of the kirby vacuum (8 or 9) I’m not sure. At first I was a little skeptical that this bag would fit my vacuum because my kirby generation did not showed up in the description. I bought the bags anyways and they fit perfectly!

I tried to put the e-mail exchange I had with the seller here, but Amazon denied it. I rated the seller as requested by Amazon, and their customer service manager sent me an e-mail chastising me for not giving them a stellar review on shipping. They use USPS Priority Mail, which isn’t the most reliable. Bottom line, the product is just fine, but the seller has very poor customer service practices. If you can find this product elsewhere, do so.

The bags are fine, afterall they are just vacuum cleaner bags. Not really much that can be wrong with them. My problem was with the merchant that shipped them (not Amazon but one of the partner business that sells products through Amazon). It took what seemed like forever to get the bags. It took 13 days to receive them and that’s with paying for shipping. Other than that, everthing was fine.

I had trouble finding the exact vacuum bags I needed and found this retailer online. I got 9 bags for about the price of 4 or 5 in a local store and the shipping was very cheap too. The bags actually showed up much quicker than I thought too…

I always buy these bags and the new low price was such a great deal I ordered several. Delivery was very quick and I am satisfied with my experience with the company. These bags are top quality also.
